Our Programs

Winter Drumline

Our drumline is focused on the musical and personal development of our members while in a competitive environment. Over the years we’ve trained numerous musicians in the art of performance, the skills of competition and the proficiency to combine the two. The Winter Percussion / drumline performs during the months of October to March with performances in the Edmonton and Calgary areas. Our member have often gone on to audition for the Edmonton Elks Drumline!

Performances include:

  • Winter Drumline competitions
  • University of Alberta Sporting Events

Winter Winds

Our Winter Winds program provides a unique indoor experience, which is a fantastic source of music education and performance opportunities for all wind performers. Whether you play bass clarinet or trumpet there’s a place for you in our ensemble. Our season runs from October to March with various performance opportunities during the season. An excellent introduction to the marching arts while performing indoors during the winter months!

Fans can catch the Elks Drumline tailgating before all Elks home games, throughout the concourse and in the stadium during the game.
